MEETING WITH OUR LOCAL MEMBER ALISON MARCHANT

Members of the BHA met with our member for the Bellarine Alison Marchant. We appreciate being given the opportunity to discuss issues which arise as the government reviews some of its policies and how they may affect Barwon Heads and the Bellarine in general.

The BHA is concerned about “FUTURE VICTORIA – “the new plan for Victoria that will build on Victoria’s Housing Statement and set out steps to address the state’s 2050 housing and land use needs, while supporting jobs growth, protecting the environment, and ensuring Victoria is more resilient to climate change”.

Please visit www.engagevictoria.vic.gov.au and “FUTURE VICTORIA” and fill out the Survey.

This is an important survey for Victoria and the Bellarine, as the supply of housing is a major crisis in Victoria and will have consequences for Planning into the future
