The Barwon Heads Association participates on the Combined Bellarine Community Association with Ocean Grove and other associations represented from across the Bellarine and works together to address issues impacting The Bellarine.

Most recently this group has focussed on raising awareness of the threat of over development of the Bellarine and the need to protect town boundaries and the unique features of the Bellarine.
A decision on the Bellarine Distinctive Area and Landscape (DAL) process now rests with the state government after the DAL’s Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) submitted its final report.
